Abstract

The current study was conducted to study the attitude of teachers towards education of Secondary level Schedule Castes (SC) students of Sivsagar district, Assam. The descriptive survey design was used by the researcher to conduct the work. Thirty (30) Secondary schools were selected using purposive sampling method where the number of SC students was not less than 30% of total enrolment. A total of sixty (60) SC teachers and sixty (60) Non- SC teachers have been chosen by using Quota sampling technique. An Attitude Scale constructed and standardized by the investigator consisting of total forty eight (48) items has been used by the investigator to conduct the research work.
